Delete Your Gollak Account
Gollak (published by Gollak) lets you delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can do this directly from inside the Gollak mobile app, or by sending a deletion request to us via email. Both options are described below and will permanently remove your account and the data tied to it.
Option 1 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, or prefer not to use it, email the Gollak team and we will delete your account and all associated data within 7 days of verifying your request.
Email us to request deletionOr write directly to adnan.nu424@gmail.com. Please send from the email address linked to your Gollak account (the Google account you signed in with), so we can verify the request.
Important: This Action is Permanent
Whichever option you use, deleting your account will permanently remove all your data including:
- Parent and children profiles
- Transaction history
- Goals and chores
- Cloud backups
This data cannot be recovered once deleted.
Option 2 — Delete from inside the Gollak app
If you still have access to the Gollak app on your device, the fastest way to delete your account is directly from the app settings. Follow these steps:
Open the Gollak App
Launch the Gollak app on your mobile device and log in with your parent account.
Navigate to Settings
From the parent dashboard, tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner, then select Settings.
Scroll to Danger Zone
Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page. You'll find a red Danger Zone section (only visible if you're signed in with Google).
Tap Delete Account
Tap the red Delete Account button. Make sure you have an active internet connection.
Note: Internet connection is required to delete your account from our servers.
Confirm Deletion
A confirmation dialog will appear explaining what will be deleted. Read it carefully, then tap Delete Permanently to confirm.
Account Deleted
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our servers. You'll be automatically logged out and redirected to the welcome screen.
What gets deleted and what is retained
Deleted within 7 days of your request
- Parent profile (name, email, Google sign-in link)
- All children profiles tied to your account
- Virtual transaction history
- Savings goals, chores, and rewards
- Cloud backups stored on our servers
Retained for a limited time
- Anonymized, aggregated usage counts (no personal identifiers) — retained to understand overall app usage trends.
- Standard server access logs — retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes, then automatically purged.

How do I delete my account if I no longer have access to the app?

Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers.
Do I need internet to delete my account?
Yes. An active internet connection is required to send the deletion request to our servers.
What if I only see local account options?
The delete account feature is only available for accounts signed in with Google. Local accounts can be deleted by uninstalling the app, as all data is stored locally on your device.
Will my children's data be deleted too?
Yes. Deleting your parent account will also delete all associated children profiles, transactions, goals, and other data.
