How to Delete Your Account
Important: This Action is Permanent
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data including:
- Parent and children profiles
- Transaction history
- Goals and chores
- Cloud backups
This data cannot be recovered once deleted.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the Gollak App
Launch the Gollak app on your mobile device and log in with your parent account.
Navigate to Settings
From the parent dashboard, tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner, then select Settings.
Scroll to Danger Zone
Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page. You'll find a red Danger Zone section (only visible if you're signed in with Google).
Tap Delete Account
Tap the red Delete Account button. Make sure you have an active internet connection.
Note: Internet connection is required to delete your account from our servers.
Confirm Deletion
A confirmation dialog will appear explaining what will be deleted. Read it carefully, then tap Delete Permanently to confirm.
Account Deleted
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our servers. You'll be automatically logged out and redirected to the welcome screen.

The delete account feature is only available for accounts signed in with Google. Local accounts can be deleted by uninstalling the app, as all data is stored locally on your device.
Will my children's data be deleted too?
Yes. Deleting your parent account will also delete all associated children profiles, transactions, goals, and other data.
